Launching the FCB kit with the city’s emerging talent
Nike was set to unveil its most groundbreaking design to date for FCB's primary kit, with a shirt that departed from the iconic vertical stripes in favour of squares. A move of this magnitude demanded a launch campaign that was just as innovative and game-changing.
/Challenge
We deeply researched the three major players: Barcelona, FCB, and Generation Z, with the goal of identifying key connections and insights. Under the concept of 'Talent takes different shapes', the launch took form: for the first time ever the kit would not be presented by the players but by emerging local talents from various fields. Thus, we transformed the campaign into a tribute to the entire spectrum of talent in Barcelona, going beyond the frontiers of football.
