Repositioning a leading newspaper to articulate its unique perspective on journalism

Amidst the clutter of the media landscape, El Periódico needed to re-find its essence, reconnecting with what made it unique and explain it to the world. Historical headlines in pivotal moments of our nation's history had already exemplified its clear and approachable take on journalism. However, its brand identity failed to mirror this essence accurately.

/Challenge

We opted to celebrate its unique worldview, translating it into the brand’s narrative and elevating its perspective on journalism: a belief that 'less is more.' We recuperated the newspaper’s core purpose through the concept of 'Entender +,' which not only served as the creative campaign's slogan but also permeated throughout the organisation, even influencing the product itself.
